Dear Dr. Pell,
On September 6, 2004, I submitted through your Web portal a request to CIR to consider my civil rights case against the State University of New York at Stony Brook and the National Science Foundation (see the enclosed documentation). Your confirmation specified not to call or e-mail until I hear from one of your intake attorneys. Since I have not heard from you in almost three months, I must assume that you are still considering my request. To help you decide in my favor, I am enclosing a CD containing the supporting documentation.
Various surveys and voter registration records have shown clearly by now that the liberal scientific establishment succeeded in taking over research and higher education. It is known less that this has been made possible by taking over federal funding agencies for research, specifically in my case the National Science Foundation. It is currently impossible for a conservative scholar to be hired in a permanent position in the academia. This appalling demonstration of intolerance by the liberal scientific community to alternative viewpoints and value systems occurred mostly unnoticed by the conservative community, until it was too late. The retired “sputnik” generation has been replaced by liberal professors who will remain in secure tenured positions until their retirement. The foundations for this takeover were put in place during the Reagan administration; the takeover was mostly accomplished during the Clinton administration, and has been completed during the first term of the Bush administration, while the government was preoccupied with fighting terrorism. My CD documents the methods used by the liberals to accomplish this. Benign measures, such as the David Horowitz’s Bill or Rights, even if adopted, would be ignored, thus stronger measures, specifically legal actions, are needed to reverse these liberal gains. I believe my case is as strong as it can get; there is not hope of reversing this if you cannot win my case.
Consider all information on the CD confidential; if you decide not to represent me, destroy the CD. Please confirm receiving this communication and let me know how long it would take for you to decide whether you will take my case or not.
